** FREE event for Sommeliers Australia Members **

Join Sommeliers Australia’s Curly Haslam-Coates, Pip Anderson and Stan Zheng as they venture deep into the heart of Central Italy to learn more about the most interesting Italian indigenous varieties. This tasting is designed to explore the diverse styles made with the most recognised Italian varietals: Sangiovese and Montepuliciano plus indigenous varieties that you can only find in Italy.

Taste through a range of Italian and Australian made wines and discuss how these Italian grape varieties reflect their local growing environment and winemaking techniques, and how they match equally well with traditional Italian and local Tasmanian cuisine.
