** FREE event for Sommeliers Australia Members **

Join Sommeliers Australia’s Jenny Polack (Bacchus Academy), Marin Van Der Klooster (Cuttings Wine) and guest sommelier Hans Palandt (Carl’s Newstead) as they explore three brackets of wines from Central Italy and Australia, and delve into what it takes to make a modern classic.

With a focus on Sangiovese and Montepulciano, taste through a range of Italian and Australian made wines and discuss how these grape varieties reflect their local growing environment and winemaking techniques.

Can Australia produce modern classics to rival the originals!?
