In restaurants and retail outlets globally, consumers are revelling in a glowing love affair with Rosé. And it is a relationship that doesn’t seem to be waning.

The popularity of the ever-versatile Rosé is on an upward trajectory. As a market segment, Rosé’s numbers have been steadily increasing over the past decade, to such a point that it is no longer a ‘trend’ but has become a legitimate and highly profitable category.

But what is it that makes Rosé so approachable, enjoyable, drinkable?
How can we expand the ‘pink’ section on wine lists without feeling as though quality is compromised?

Join Sommeliers Australia’s Sarah Andrew, and winemaker Melanie Chester (Sutton Grange), as they delve into the world of Rosé, answering these questions and more. Rosés from across the globe – commercial and premium – will be tasted, prompting discussion about what makes Rosé so appealing, and how we can give Rosé-lovers more variety on our lists.
