Do you have trouble recognising brett? Never tasted mousiness?

Then join us at this specialised 2 hour workshop as we examine wine faults commonly (mis)identified in a dining setting.

Held in collaboration with the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI), this workshop is open to Sommeliers Australia members and guests to attend. Common wine faults presenting in white and red wine will be shown in various concentrations (10 faults in total), and our panel of experts – AWRI scientist Matt Holdstock, Jonathan Ross MS and winemaker Sierra Reed (Reed Wines) – will discuss why these faults occur and how best to identify them, as well as being on hand to answer technical and practical questions.

This workshop is a must for sommeliers, wait staff, bar staff and anyone working in a retail or distribution setting, as participants will learn to recognise and determine their own personal sensitivities and/or insensitivities to wine faults across both white and red wines.

Seats for this workshop are limited, book early to avoid disappointment.

COST:
Sommeliers Australia members – $99 + booking fee
