I joined Sommeliers Australia in order to be part of a positive change in the industry I love so much rather than waiting for one. I’d like that change to achieve more humility, empathy and connection within and out of our beloved profession.
My personal mission statement is:
“To nurture and elevate the professionals of the wine-world for a better one”
In the D&I space, I want to champion:
Initiatives such as events and functions for others to feel connected and inspired by.
My role model is:
Master Sommelier, Pascaline Lepeltier, for her genuine interest in the viticulture side of things, organic and Biodynamic farming. She is also a proof for me that there are no shortcuts to success.
My greatest indulgence is:
Aged white burgundy and seared scallops… perhaps too much?
