|What inspired me to become a sommelier:
The people I was surrounded with during my internship as a waiter. They remain some of the most skilled sommeliers in Denmark today: to get such a passionate introduction to wine has been alpha & omega.
|My role model is:
My dad☺️ But as a sommelier I have several. I could mention Serge Dubs, Arvid Rosengren and Christian Thorsholt.
|My greatest professional achievement is:
Winning silver at ASI Best Sommelier of the World in 2019.
|My favourite food and beverage match is:
Impossible! Maybe vin jaune with poulet and morels??
|What I enjoy most about taking part in ‘Best Sommelier’ competitions…
The energy there: meeting all the other candidates, feeling the adrenaline rush and gaining inspiration for improvement.
