Now celebrating 35 years of success, Gambero Rosso’s ‘Top Italian Wines Roadshow’ is returning to Melbourne for one day only in May 2022. Now in its 15th year, one of the world’s most anticipated and best-known Italian wine tours is heading down-under to celebrate all things Vini Italiani. Explore Italy’s top wine making regions, including Piedmont, Liguria, Alto Adige, Friuli, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo, Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia. Rediscover the tradition, culture and uniqueness of one of the worlds’ greatest wine making countries.
Walk Around Tasting
Trade, media and wine lovers are invited to the walk around tasting featuring 47 iconic wineries representing Italy’s wine heritage at its pinnacle. Taste 185 wines from some of Italy’s greatest producers, including: San Felice, Fontanafredda, Argiano, Pio Cesare, Colle Massari, Lunae Bosoni, Cusumano, Pasqua, Santa Margherita, Medici Ermete, Ruggeri, Cantina Produttori San Michele Appiano. This is a unique opportunity to meet the producers while enjoying award-winning Italian wine without having to get on a plane!
Masterclasses
The guided masterclasses will take participants on an intimate adventure into Italy’s diverse wine producing landscape. Guests will taste 15 award-winning Italian wines in each, hosted by Marco Sabellico (Editor Vini d’Italia Wine Guide).
