Course delivery method-

Hybrid format course:

  • Students attend all classes in person;
  • Educator delivers some content remotely (via video conferencing) to the classroom and some content in-person.

Course description-

This is an advanced qualification and a substantial amount of study is required to be successful in the exam. Before registering, please check the schedule below and ensure you are available to attend the classes.

There is a total of 84 hours of study for this qualification, made up of:

  • 32.5 guided learning hours with your educator
  • 51.5 hours of private study (this is the minimum recommendation and most students require much more than this)

Assessment: Unit 1: closed-book 2 hour exam consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions and a short-written answer paper. Unit 2: a 30 minute blind tasting exam of two wines.

The WSET Level 2 in Wines qualification is a pre-requisite for this course.
