I AM:
Saranya Kundasamy. I’m currently studying full time Masters of Law, specialising in human rights and policy at UNSW. (NSW Committee) 
I BECAME A COMMITTEE MEMBER:
Because I’m passionate about the Australian wine industry and I wanted to continue to maintain strong connections with the community as well as contribute to the industry while studying. 
MY BACKGROUND IS:
I’ve had the privilege of growing up all over the world but have spent most of my life in the UK and still feel like a Londoner even though I’m now Sydney-based. I got my first job in wine during the pandemic at the Oak Barrel after deciding to move on from working in the art world, and subsequently worked as Assistant Manager at Native Drops in Surry Hills and Bondi. 
ONE THING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME IS…
One of my favourite hobbies in London was beekeeping! 
MY ROLE MODEL IS:
Bridget Raffal. She’s an incredible mentor, friend and fount of wine knowledge. I also have the pleasure of working alongside Bridget at Sommeliers Australia as well as Women and Revolution. 
MY GREATEST INDULGENCE IS:
Vintage Agrapart and Tathra/Wapengo oysters.
