Next up on our radar for ‘Spotlight on Committee’, we have a new Committee member, Trent Everitt…

Part of the WA Committee, Trent is a fairly recent devotee of wine. Almost by accident, he enrolled in WSET whilst living in Durham, UK during Europe’s frost-prone 2017 vintage, and never looked back since.

Seeking warmer climes, he moved to Perth, Western Australia with a WSET Level 3 certificate, and worked as a Sommelier in Rockpool Perth.

Trent then continued his passion in wine as the Sommelier for Besk, where he received a 3 Glass rating in the Wine List of The Year Awards, and has maintained the accolade for three years running.

Trent wears many hats though, and besides working on the floor, he is also an account manager for Vintage Fine Wines. He judges wines at the WA Good Food Guide Awards, is a wine educator for Besk and the Wine Education Centre (WA), and, on top of his involvement with Sommeliers Australia, he is also a member of The WA Wine Press Club.
