Let’s meet Mirco Tarducci for this week’s ‘Spotlight on Committee’…

Originally from Italy, Mirco’s love for hospitality has taken him to different countries, eventually landing him in Perth, Western Australia where he has set his roots. He is part of Sommeliers Australia’s WA committee.

With a hospitality career spanning over 20 years, Mirco has seen it all. His stint in Macao, China as the Wine Director for the one Michelin-starred Otto e Mezzo Bombana Macao, earned him a 2 Glasses Rating with Wine Spectator. He was also the winner of the Ruinart Challenge for Hong Kong and Macao in 2019.

A certified Sommelier, Mirco is the Senior Beverage Manager at Tillbrook Melaleuca Group, facilitating in the curation and expansion of the beverage program across all their restaurant and retail outlets.

He is currently preparing for the Advanced Court of Master Sommelier exam, and he aims to make this industry a more inclusive place.
