Matt’s focus in providing an authentic approach to wine and his dedication to empower the next wave of wine talent has established him as a respected member of the New Soulth Wales Committee.
He is a Len Evans Scholar, a Certified Sommelier, and is a WSET Diploma graduate and educator.
With a career spanning decades, Matt has worked at Aria Sydney from the grassroots, gradually expanding Solotel’s eateries as their Group Sommelier. His work now as Joval Wine’s Group Wine Ambassador sees him curate wine experiences, give training and masterclasses to clients and staff alike.
Matt’s humble approach lends to his work as a wine judge, writer and keynote speaker, further illustrating his contribution to the industry.
