The three things that really annoy me are: people that walk slowly; people that eat with their mouth open; and paisley. There’s no excuse for any of these things to happen. Ever.
THE MOTTO I LIVE BY IS:
Everything in moderation…including moderation.
THE PERFECT MEAL WOULD BE:
My last supper would probably be nasi lemak, because it is such a beautiful, humble dish and has a little bit of everything you could want in the world. Probably served with a glass of Riesling (OH MY GOD IF ANOTHER WINE PERSON LISTS RIESLING AS THEIR ULTIMATE PAIRING I MIGHT BE SICK) because it’s probably hot and it’s probably breakfast time and who doesn’t love Riesling in the morning?
MY GREATEST INDULGENCE IS:
Allowing wine to dominate my life.
WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF THE WINE INDUSTRY IS…
The human element that gets wine into a bottle (or cask) – the history, tradition, and effort to work with nature – as well as the human element when that vessel is opened – the food, discussion and shared experience. What grapes are capable of astounds me on a daily basis.
