I am African American and I began my journey in wine at a restaurant in Houston Texas. Now I’m a Advanced Sommelier living in Sydney. My journey has been an array of happy accidents that have taken me around the world. I never imagined I would end up where I am now and I’m grateful.

I am a classically trained singer.
|My role model is:
My mother has always been my role model. She’s kind, thoughtful, graceful and incredibly resilient. She’s my biggest fan and my constant reminder that I am capable of anything.
|The perfect meal would be:
A bottle of Lucien Le Moine Montrachet and a roasted spatchcock with my family back home in Texas would be a dream for me.
|My greatest indulgence is:
Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong time period, I have such a soft spot for fortified wines. I would happily indulge with a glass of 30 year VORS Palo Cortado every night of the week.
