|MY BACKGROUND IS:
It always comes down to passion, self-belief and hard work. I’ve had the pleasure to work with some amazing restaurant teams over many, many years. I’ve also been very fortunate to taste, drink and discuss some extraordinary wines providing some epic wine experiences.
|ONE THING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME IS…
I am one of the co-creators of Lyre’s Non Alcoholic Spirits.
|MY ROLE MODEL IS:
I’m regularly inspired by my good friend and Sommeliers Australia President, Sarah Andrew. Her commitment to and time spent on SommsAust, her teaching role at WSET, and her loyalty to friends and family is moving.
|THE PERFECT MEAL WOULD BE:
One Penny Red has so many wonderful and loyal customers that have become friends over our almost 8 years of operation. Our BYO ‘Raid Your Cellar’ nights are so much fun and the wine sharing is off the charts! I’m always amazed of the wines our guests share with us. A recent pairing I had was sourdough crumpet, crème fraiche and trout roe with Tattinger Comte de Champagne 2008 – delicious!

Watching the community grow and becoming a true and legitimate career choice.
