[VIC] Courtney Keegan – Dan Murphy’s

With over a decade of combined experience in hospitality and liquor retail, Courtney has developed a genuine passion for customer service and a deep appreciation for wine. Through ongoing study — including WSET courses — she has built a strong understanding of wines from Australia and around the world.

After relocating from Sydney to Melbourne in late 2019, Courtney took on a range of roles during the pandemic, engagoing work in cocktail and wine bars. In 2021, she transitioned from hospitality to wine trade, joining The Bitters Lab in Collingwood as a sales representative. Her time in Collingwood sparked a new curiosity — captivated by the range, Courtney found herself joining the team at Blackhearts & Sparrows as a retail assistant in the Prahran Market store. It was her where she further honed her product knowledge and customer service expertise.

By 2023, Courtney was ready for her next challenge, for which she joined team at Dan Murphy’s as a wine merchant at the Spotswood store. Her dedication and enthusiasm quickly saw her advance to the flagship Prahran Arcade store, where she continues to excel in her role. Courtney is a proud Victorian State Champion for Rootlings: the Australian Wine Youth Network, where she helps coordinate events and initiatives that empower young professionals to thrive in the wine industry.
