Megan grew up in Ireland with aspirations of teaching Home Economics while studying for her BSc in Culinary Entrepreneurship. During her studies, she began working at the Michelin-starred l’Ecrivain Restaurant in Dublin, which sparked her love of hospitality. She is a passionate hospitality professional with extensive international experience across Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, and premium wineries in Ireland, the U.K., and Australia.

Holding a First-Class Honours BSc in Culinary Entrepreneurship from TU Dublin, she brings a strong foundation in management, training, and guest experience, combined with hands-on expertise in fine dining, beverage service, and team leadership.

Megan was the Tasting Room Manager at Shaw + Smith Winery in the Adelaide Hills, where she led a high-performing team in delivering exceptional tasting experiences that showcased the region’s renowned wines and hospitality. She oversaw day-to-day operations, mentored and developed staff, and ensured every guest interaction reflected the winery’s commitment to excellence, authenticity, and a strong sense of place.

Through her career, Megan has strengthened her leadership, team development, and operational management skills while gaining extensive experience in premium wine service, customer engagement, and brand representation. She developed a collaborative leadership style, fostered a positive and knowledgeable team culture, and built a deep understanding of creating memorable guest experiences that balanced professionalism with genuine warmth and a passion for wine.
