Gill has worked in the wine industry under many guises, and has a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, tourism, and writing.

She was the founder, principal Wine Buyer and General Manager of Wine House in Melbourne. Wine House has long been considered one of Australia’s leading wine education and event centres.

In 2013, Gill was nominated for Global Wine Educator of the Year. She runs both WSET and the Wine Scholar Guild qualifications, as well as premium wine masterclasses and tastings. Gill is a WSET Diploma Graduate, WSET-certified Educator, and a French Wine Scholar.

Gill has been a judge at the prestigious London International Wine Challenge, Decanter World Wine Awards, and Melbourne Royal Wine Show
