Meet The Winemaker: Wynns of Coonawarra
A wine tasting and grazing feast with stories from Sue Hodder, Chief Winemaker of the iconic Wynns Coonawarra Estate.
As part of the 2026 Wynns new release week we are very excited to welcome to The Chandlery; James Halliday Hall of Fame recipient Sue Hodder. This incredible woman has been making wine at Wynns for three decades and has plenty of insightful thoughts to share with you!
This is not your usual tasting event:
Of course, you will taste the latest releases along with back vintages to get a real sense of one of Australia’s most famous and renowned wineries. But throughout the event, accredited Sommelier, Gill Sykes will also host mini interviews with Sue Hodder to gain a deep insight into the mind behind such a successful winery.
The tasting of 9 wines will be paired with The Chandlery’s woodfire grilled canapé station. A seasonal menu, designed to complement the tasting experience.
This is a unique evening of fine wine, exceptional food and rare insights into a highly acclaimed winemaker and her wines.
