[VIC] WSET Level 3 Course at Melbourne Wine House

2 – WEEK COURSE PLUS EXAM.
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR CANDIDATES TO COMPLETE WSET LEVEL 2 PRIOR TO COMMENCING LEVEL 3.
CANDIDATES SHOULD AIM TO COLLECT THEIR COURSE MATERIAL AT LEAST 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE, TO FAMILIARISE THEMSELVES WITH THE LEVEL 3 CONTENT.
The WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines qualification is designed to give a thorough understanding of the principal wines of the world and their commercial importance in the world’s liquor market.
The qualification will assist those who are required to make professional evaluations of wines, with regard to their commercial value in the retail and hospitality industry. It also provides candidates with an in-depth understanding of wine styles, wine regions, grape varieties, and wine production methods. Holders of the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines will be able to describe the characteristics of the principle wines of the world and give information on the key factors influencing style, quality and value.
The qualified student will also be in a position to advise management, to answer customer queries authoritatively, and to make informed selections of wines in a variety of situations. The course is also suitable for keen enthusiasts wanting to continue their wine studies in a structured manner.

– Sparkling wines
– Fortified wines
Palate training is part of every lesson.
This course runs for 2 weeks from the 28th of February to the 12th of March with Exam on the 22nd March.

– Wednesday 2nd Mar 12pm – 4:30pm
– Saturday 5th Mar 12pm – 4: 30pm
– Monday 7th Mar 2:30pm – 6:30pm
– Tuesday 8th Mar 12pm – 4:30pm
– Saturday 12th Mar 10:30am – 5pm
– Exam (Tasting and Theory): Tuesday 22nd Mar 2:30pm.
Courses and events policy:
* Only available to fully vaccinated patrons, in line with Victorian Government COVID-19 directives.
No refunds will be issued within 10 working days prior to the start of the course. Before that period, a 75% refund is allowed if a student cancels their enrolment. A 100% refund will apply if Wine House cancels. There is a re-sit exam fee of $190 if a student does not attend the exam for any reason or fails the exam.
