Venite Signore e Signori! Join us in celebrating the best of an Italian Summer!

Balmy summer nights, Mediterranean breezes, the scent of citrus blossom, Negronis and Prosecco – transport yourself to the Amalfi Coast for an Italian Summer – the Sommeliers Australia Annual Gala event.

This year’s Gala event is all about la dolce vita.

This will be a night of Italian-style summertime revelry… delicious food from the Alfred Place cucina and pizza oven, free-flowing Italian beverages, music, friends and great conversation.

Our Italian Summer night will be an evening of two parts –
La Sera and La Festa.

La Sera (6.30-9.30pm) will start with pre-dinner drinks while the top two performers from the Education Scholarship will be put through their paces. This formality will be followed by a banchetto-style dinner with a selection of Italian varieties on pour.

Following La Sera, the after party La Festa, starts at 9.30pm. Guests can let down their hair and enjoy Italy-inspired cocktails and Prosecco, pizzas hot from the oven, music, games, silent cinema.

Sommeliers Australia members, friends and wine industry folk are all invited. Join us for La Sera and La Festa, or just La Festa. With either option it’s guaranteed that you will eat, drink, dance and be merry.

Individual seat – Non-member – $155 + booking fee

Groups of 8 – $1,080 + booking fee

La Festa ONLY tickets – after-party entry from 9.30pm until late.
Includes supper, wine, cocktails & after party fun!
