Step into the world of Hawke’s Bay in this engaging 90-minute masterclass, presented in collaboration with Hawke’s Bay Wines as part of the Hawke’s Bay Wines Ambassadorship Programme.

Dedicated to red blends, this session explores one of the region’s most established and respected styles. Drawing on Bordeaux-inspired varieties, Hawke’s Bay produces blends of depth, structure, and balance, where ripe fruit, fine tannins, and savoury complexity come together with precision. Savour the character of sun-kissed vineyards and the distinct sites that drive consistency and concentration, producing wines that are both powerful and composed, with excellent ageing potential.

Led by Jason Stent (Paritua Winery) this masterclass weaves into discussion blending approaches, site selection, and the stylistic nuances that define these unique red blends. Taste your way through 10–12 of the region’s most fascinating red blends, each offering a distinct expression of Hawke’s Bay’s character.
