Monday, 24 September 2018 # 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm AEST

Do you have trouble recognising brett? Never tasted mousiness?

Then join us at this specialised 2 hour session as we examine wine faults commonly (mis)identified in a dining setting.

With thanks to the work carried out at the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) attendees will taste 10 wine faults in various concentrations, and hear from our panel of experts – AWRI scientist Geoff Cowey, Kate McIntyre MW, technical winemaker Tom Carson – about why these faults occur and how best to identify them.

This session is a must for anyone working with wine in a bar, dining, retail or distribution setting, as participants will learn to recognise and determine their own personal sensitivities and/or insensitivities to wine faults.
