Journey through the homeland of the Gamay grape in an exploration of the volcanic crus of Beaujolais. These hillside appellations on the slopes of the Beaujolais Mountains produce the finest expressions of Gamay, where it comes in all shapes and styles, just waiting to be discovered.
Fresh from his own in-person trek through the region, join MW candidate Shaughn Jenkins DipWSET (East End Cellars, Through the Cellar Door), alongside fellow MW candidate Marcell Kustos PhD (LUDO Wines), your hosts from Sommeliers Australia, for a rare look at all 10 crus of Beaujolais side-by-side, with a tasting of the proposed 11th cru ‘Lantignié’, and an example or two found closer to home.
