With so much significance currently placed on climate change, the wine industry is one sector that is deeply and immediately affected by extreme variations in environmental conditions.

So, how can the industry do their bit to support environmental change?

With sustainability as their core mission for over 20 years, Voyager Estate approaches the climate change crisis at ground level, with a focus on building and improving soil carbon, ecosystem support, land management, water efficiency and utilising renewable energy.

The entire Voyager Estate team aims to leave the land on which they work in a better state for future generations than when the business started. With all of the fruit grown and meticulously crafted on their property, Voyager Estate’s vineyards are 100% organically farmed, with wines transitioning to full certification by 2023.

In collaboration with Sommeliers Australia, the team at Voyager Estate invites you to share in their journey toward organic certification, benchmarking current and back releases with an array of organically farmed wines from quality producers that the Voyager’s winemaking team look to for inspiration.

Join Voyager Estate Winemaker, James Penton, Market Development Manager, Tom Kline, and guest sommelier Marcel Thomson (Blackbird Bar & Grill) as they take a deep dive into the philosophy, challenges, and happy surprises behind Voyager’s organic certification process; whilst tasting through multiple brackets of interesting reference wines.
