“Wine Shows; it doesn’t matter if you love them or hate them, nonetheless they are an integral part of our industry and a great training ground for wine assessment.”

 

This is a practical look at the show system where there will be two ‘Classes’ of wine to be assessed in normal judging conditions. The session will be as realistic as possible – minus the palate fatigue, questionable finger-food and the late nights!

Led by Sommeliers Australia’s Sarah Andrew and Matt Dunne (Solotel), and winemaker Nick Spencer, this will be a 2.5 hour intensive immersion (9.30am-12pm) into the world of show judging and a great chance to put your palate to the test with instructive insights and tips along the way.

Non-members – $45 + booking fee
