Alicia grew up in the heart of northeast Victoria’s wine country, with wine a formative feature of her life. Alicia’s journey into the wine industry began in 2009 when she joined the Brown Family Wine Group. It was here she explored all facets of the business – including events, wine sales and business, through to wine production. 

Joining the team at Pizzini Wines in 2013 as the cellar door manager and events coordinator, Alicia gained team leadership skills and insights into wine business. In 2015 she ventured across the ditch to Marlborough, New Zealand, where she remained for 2 years advancing her laboratory and winemaking dexterity. Upon returning to Australia, Alicia joined the production team at Bay of Fires Wines in Tasmania in 2017. Alicia has worked with northeast Victorian icons including Beechworth’s Eldorado Road, Rutherglen’s Scion Wine, and Beechworth’s Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown. Alicia is a committee member for both the historic Rutherglen Wine Show, and Australian Fortified Wine Show, she also engages in national wine show judging. Holding the WSET Diploma, Alicia is passionate about north-east Victorian wine with the marriage of its deep roots and tradition, and its new shoots and innovation.
