With over 30 years of experience in wine education, Jenny brings an infectious passion and a wealth of expertise to all her teaching, with a commitment to making wine more enjoyable and accessible for everyone. She thrives on inspiring others, equipping them with practical skills to deepen their appreciation for wine—whether they’re beginners or seasoned enthusiasts.

Jenny holds an impressive trio of wine qualifications: an Associate Diploma in Wine Marketing from the University of Adelaide, the prestigious OIV MSc in Wine Business, and the globally respected WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits. Her academic background is complemented by teaching credentials, including a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, a partial Bachelor of Education in Music, and the WSET Educator Training Program. Jenny’s decades-long teaching career spans a wide array of institutions—from TAFEs and Edith Cowan University to international WSET programs and private workshops. 

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Jenny was awarded the Wine Communicators of Australia (WCA) Best Wine Educator Award in 2016 and was a finalist in both 2019 and 2015. She’s also been celebrated for her work curating award-winning wine lists for establishments such as Birches Training Restaurant and Claypots Seafood Bar & Restaurant. Jenny’s love for wine education shines through in every session she leads—always aiming to demystify wine, spark curiosity, and most importantly, share the joy of discovery in every glass.
