@nzwinegrowers, in partnership with Sommeliers Australia, are offering TWO Australian wine professionals the opportunity to take part in the New Zealand Wine Sommelier Scholarship & Sommit™ 2027.

The New Zealand Wine Sommelier Scholarship offers passionate wine professionals the opportunity to experience New Zealand like never before, exploring the regions, varieties, landscapes and personalities that make its wines so distinctive.

The scholarship includes:
 ⇒  Attendance at Sommit™ (22–23 January 2027)
 ⇒  Attendance at Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand 2027 (2–4 February 2027)
 ⇒  Wine experiences and tastings across New Zealand
 ⇒  International and domestic flights, accommodation, meals, transfers, event registrations and event inclusions.

SOMMIT™

Hosted by Cameron Douglas MS @camdouglasms and Stephen Wong MW @ibrokethebeat, Sommit™ is an intimate and immersive celebration of New Zealand wine. The programme explores the lesser-known aspects of New Zealand wine, with a particular focus on the stories, regions and varieties that resonate most with sommeliers.

And yes… it's also heaps of fun.

Only TWO scholarships will be awarded to Australian applicants.

Applicants must be current Sommeliers Australia Professional Members, actively working in hospitality, and have a passion for all things wine—especially New Zealand wine.
