On Sunday 18 August, the Sommeliers Australia National AGM was held in Melbourne, with State and National Executive Committee representatives present.
During the meeting, a renewed National Executive team was voted in to manage the association for the 2019/2020 period.

Across both state and national levels of Sommeliers Australia, the next two years will see a huge amount of work being done behind the scenes of our normal activities, as the association looks forward to working on and hosting the ASI Best Sommelier of Asia and Oceania in 2021.
This international event is a great honour for our small association to host, and will bring together the best sommeliers from across the Asia Oceania region, and beyond, to Australia to not only compete for the title of Best Sommelier of Asia Oceania, but to be introduced to and immersed into beauty of the Australian wine landscape.
