Megan grew up in Ireland with aspirations of teaching Home Economics while studying for her BSc in Culinary Entrepreneurship. During her studies, she began working at the Michelin-starred l’Ecrivain Restaurant in Dublin, which sparked her love of hospitality. She is a passionate hospitality professional with extensive international experience across Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, and premium wineries in Ireland, the U.K., and Australia.

Holding a First-Class Honours BSc in Culinary Entrepreneurship from TU Dublin, she brings a strong foundation in management, training, and guest experience, combined with hands-on expertise in fine dining, beverage service, and team leadership.

Currently, she serves as the Tasting Room Manager at Shaw + Smith Winery in the Adelaide Hills, where she leads a dynamic team delivering world-class tasting experiences that showcase the region’s distinctive wines and hospitality. Her role combines team leadership, guest engagement, and operational oversight, ensuring that every visitor experience reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence, authenticity, and connection to place. Megan takes pride in fostering a motivated, knowledgeable team and creating an atmosphere that balances professionalism with genuine warmth and a passion for wine.
