DESCRIPTION:Sommeliers Australia has partnered with the Champagne Bureau Australia* to host an informal tasting event that celebrates International Women’s Day and the important contribution of women to the culture\, winemaking and business of the Champagne appellation. \nA range of cuvees have been selected from Houses\, Growers and Cooperatives across the appellation of Champagne. Some marques are recognised the world over\, while others are sourced from smaller producers and might be less well known\, but they are all making an impact on the Champagne scene in Australia/the world. \nCore to the tasting are cuvees produced by women winemakers\, with examples from the likes of: \nChampagne Henriot : winemaker Alice Tetienne [Reims] \nMichel Gonet : winemaker Sophie Signolle Gonet [Avize] \nPerrier-Jouët : winemaker Séverine Frerson [Epernay] \nChampagne Jacquart : winemaker Joëlle Weiss [Reims] \nDuval Leroy : winemaker Sandrine Logette-Jardin [Vertus] \nMarc Chauvet : winemaker Clotilde Chauvet [Rilly-la-Montagne] \nBruno Paillard : winemaker Alice Paillard [Reims] \n  \nPlus a selection of other cuvees will also be included in the line-up\, including De Saint-Gall\, Larmandier- Bernier\, Penfolds x Thienot\, Taittinger\, Veuve Clicquot… \nJoin us for this 2 hour celebratory tasting: enjoy some amazing Champagnes and great snacks from the Rooftop Bar\, chat about Champagne\, and you may just discover something new from the appellation! \nSeats are limited. \n  \nTICKETS:\nTicket price includes Champagne tasting and snacks.\n \n⇒ Sommeliers Australia Members – $45 + booking fee \n\nTo access the Members priced ticket\, Sommeliers Australia Members login at sommeliers.com.au\, click the ‘View Available Coupons’ button on the dashboard for their UNIQUE ACCESS CODE.
