DESCRIPTION:Join us for our inaugural Sommeliers Long Lunch event in Sydney… \n  \n \n3 sommeliers + 3 wines + 3 matched courses\n= one “Warrior” to rule them all! \nWho. Will. Reign? \n  \nFor the first time ever\, the Sommeliers Australia “Warriors of Wine” Sommeliers Long Lunch will be held in Sydney\, on Sunday 23 June at One Penny Red. \nFor this inaugural showdown\, the battlelines have been drawn by 3 of Sydney’s best up and coming sommeliers: \n  Bridget Raffal\, Sixpenny\n \nBryce Faiella\, ARIA \nMirko Scanu\, One Penny Red \n  \nThe challenge will be for each “Warrior” to each present three wines to match three dishes prepared by the talented team at One Penny Red. But\, our Warriors have chosen to up the ante by each selecting their three wine matches from their choice of Australian producer… \n1 Warrior + 1 Winery = 3 great wine matches \nOr does it!? \nYou decide. \nAccompanying the 3 course ‘battle round’ will be an aperitif and canapes on arrival\, and cheese with a glass of something delicious to finish selected by Matt Dunne. In total 10 wines will be served. \nThe winner will be determined by the gathered wine and food lovers of Sydney\, who will cast votes for their favourite wine matches. \nNot only is this a fantastic opportunity to see three of Sydney’s best young sommeliers put through their paces\, but the lunch will also include a fundraising raffle and auction\, with funds going towards supporting the Sommeliers Australia Education Scholarship to be held in August 2019. \nOffered every three years\, the Education Scholarship is often touted as being the Len Evan’s Scholarship for young sommeliers\, giving them access to some of the best international wines and the knowledge and experience of Australia’s best sommeliers and industry experts. \nSo book a ticket\, or for a group\, and watch our 3 “Warriors” in action as they present their best wine match. Seats for this event are VERY limited\, so book quickly! \n  \nWHO. WILL. REIGN?? \n  \nCOST:\nSommeliers Australia Member Only individual seat – $120 + booking fee\n(Available only to current Sommeliers Australia members) \nIndividual seat – $140 + booking fee\n(Available for Non-Members & Member’s guests) \nCost per person includes canapes\, three courses\, cheese course + 10 wines.\n\n \nTO BOOK:\nOne Penny Red are handling all bookings via their website\, please \nClick here for Member Only ticket purchases \nClick here for Individual seat ticket purchases \nEach ticket type will be processed separately.
