DESCRIPTION:Sommeliers Australia and the Champagne Bureau will present an interactive workshop to discuss the best approach when creating a professional Champagne menu. The Champagne Bureau’s John Noble with Quay’s Group Wine Director Amanda Yallop and Head Sommelier Shanteh Wong\, and 2014 Vin de Champagne Award winner Annette Lacey will take you through the conceptualisation and process of creating a successful Champagne dinner menu. \nOver 16 Champagnes from the 2018 Vin de Champagne Award dinner will be served and you will have an opportunity to taste and discuss the wines\, and hear about food and Champagne matching techniques. \nPlaces are limited\, so book now to secure your seat! \n  \nCOST:\nSommeliers Australia Members ONLY – $25 + booking fee\n(only one Members ticket per membership) \n  \nCLICK HERE to book your seat via Iwannaticket. \n  \nPLEASE NOTE: Ticketing is being managed by Champagne Bureau. The 2018 competition marks\nthe 43 rd anniversary of the award and the Champagne Bureau will announce the winners at a black-\ntie dinner at Quay Restaurant in Sydney where a diverse selection of Champagne will be served with\na special menu created for the occasion. \nThe Champagne Bureau (literally “Champagne Office”) represents the interests of the Houses\,\nGrowers and Cooperatives of Champagne in Australia\, and is based in Sydney providing Champagne\ninformation and education. The Vin de Champagne Awards is presented bi-annually for both\nprofessionals and amateurs; the next Vin de Champagne Awards will take place in 2020 and you can\nregister your interest in the next competition by emailing info@champagne.com.au
