About the business

Nelson Wine Co is a market leading fine wine distributor established in 1993. Our Portfolio is made up of iconic Australian, New Zealand & European brands.

We are looking for an experienced wine sales or hospitality professional with industry knowledge, passion, expertise and commitment to join our Victorian sales team.

 

Key responsibilities

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing new business opportunities within an established key metro area in both On Premise & Retail channels.
  • Achieving an agreed set of KPI’s including realistic monthly targets
  • Represent all brands within the portfolio.

We are seeking applicants with:

  • strong wine knowledge
  • wine industry experience & local networks
  • demonstrated experience in a sales position
  • experience & passion for wine and the hospitality industry
  • a commitment to building strong business relationships
  • understanding of what excellent customer service is all about
  • a willingness to work in a dynamic team environment
  • a current valid drivers license
