Reporting to the National Sales Manager, we are seeking a dynamic relationship-driven individual with a real passion for brand building, effectively managing their market and delivering results.

Qualifications & experience

  • Experience representing and selling premium brands and negotiating new business agreements
  • Proven ability to drive a market or business independently
  • Demonstrated ability to nurture and build strong long-term business relationships
  • Experience in delivering brand presentations and staff training is a must
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, either as a distributor or customer, very highly regarded
  • An understanding of the Sydney hotel and restaurant industry would be a distinct advantage
  • The Antipodes brand is closely linked with the wine industry through our national distributor, Samuel Smith & Son/Negociants, so solid general wine knowledge would also be highly regarded

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Research, identify and develop new on-premise business opportunities for the brand in the Sydney and ACT markets
  • Nurture strong relationships with existing key customers via regular contact visits and planned business reviews
  • Work closely with distributor teams to ensure the highest standard of brand representation
  • Conduct comparative water and wine training sessions with on-premise customers and distributor teams to ensure thorough product knowledge and to drive sales
  • Manage time and market activity effectively and independently to maximise new business opportunities
