DESCRIPTION:As part of an ongoing initiative to support those in the beverage alcohol industry\, US-based Women of the Vine & Spirits (WOTVS)\, has hired RAINN to develop this customized training specifically for the beverage alcohol/hospitality industry. With great gratitude\, we are able to continue offering these impactful modules thanks to the support of Silver Corporate Member Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) and Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA). We believe strongly that this collaboration between our organizations will result in these trainings reaching more team members in our industry\, creating safer work environments for all. Read more. \nThe trainings are FREE and open to all in the beverage alcohol industry. Register Today! \n  \nNOTE: These trainings have been developed for the US beverage market\, but registration is open to internationals to attend online. RAINN helps organizations meet the complexities of today’s climate by moving beyond compliance toward values-based\, sustainable solutions that promote safe and healthy communities. \nIt is highly recommended that you attend Level 1 before participating in Level 2 training sessions. To learn more about each training\, visit the Event Registration pages linked below. \nTraining Dates for 2023\nClick on the date to register \n\n\n\nLevel 1\nLevel 2\n\n\nWednesday\, March 22\nWednesday\, March 29\n\n\n7:30AM PST / 10:30AM EST\n7:30AM PST / 10:30AM EST\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWednesday\, May 17\nWednesday\, May 24\n\n\n9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST\n9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday\, September 19\nTuesday\, September 26\n\n\n12:00PM PST / 3:00PM EST\n12:00PM PST / 3:00PM EST\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThursday\, November 2\nThursday\, November 9\n\n\n9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST\n9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST\n\n\n\n  \nLevel 1: Sexual Misconduct Prevention & Response Training  \nIn this 90-minute session\, RAINN will begin with exploring the complexities of sexual misconduct and how common misconceptions play a role in the experiences of survivors. SUMMARY:[TAS] Syrahs of the South: A Masterclass
DESCRIPTION: * Bookings extended to 4pm\, Tuesday 19 September *\nAs the most prolific grape variety in Australia\, Syrah – or more popularly known as Shiraz – accounts for more than a quarter of total wine grape production.  The two names of the same grape tend to clue people in on its style – Shiraz is recognised as the big and bold-flavoured nectar from the Barossa Valley; and Syrah\, the cool climate\, ‘French’ leaning wine that is more floral and peppery. \nJoin us for the first time ever in Launceston\, as Sommeliers Australia’s David Newman (S.Smith & Son/Negociants Aust.) and Michael Fisher (The Tasman) deep dive into Syrah with local winemaker Ricky Evans (Two Tonne Tasmania). Taste and discuss Syrahs from Tasmania alongside iconic examples from the mainland and Rhone Valley. \n  \nTICKETS: \n⇒ Members Tasting Ticket – $15 + booking fee \n\nTo access the Members priced ticket\, Sommeliers Australia Members login at sommeliers.com.au\, click the ‘View Available Coupons’ button on the dashboard for their UNIQUE ACCESS CODE. Then proceed to Humanitix and apply the access code on the ticket page to ‘Access hidden tickets’.\n\n⇒ Non-Members Tasting Ticket – $45 + booking fee\n(A very limited number of Non-Members tickets are available.) \n  \nTO BOOK:\nBookings are essential and will be taken until 4pm\, Monday 18 September\, unless booked out prior. \nCLICK HERE to book your tickets via Humanitix. \n  \n  \nPhoto credit: Wine Australia

SUMMARY:[VIC] How to Write a Brew-tiful Beer List
DESCRIPTION:— Limited seats available – bookings extended until 12pm Tuesday 26 September — \n  \nEver heard of the beer-wine paradox? That the fancier you like your wine\, the more flavourless you like your beer – it’s a thing\, right? Is your beer list looking a bit pedestrian – a couple of lagers\, couple of pale ales etc? So what do you tell customers who want beer to taste more than that? \nSommelier\, winemaker and boring beer drinker Liam O’Brien (Athletes of Wine) from Sommeliers Australia has gathered a panel of talented brewers to help all you wine people learn how to beer good. \nHow is tasting and describing beer different to wine? How do you write a beer list? Beyond curry and/or yum cha\, what do you know about beer and food matching? \nOur panelists\, Jayne Lewis (Full Colour Life\, ex-Two Birds) and Nic Sandery (Molly Rose Brewing) will talk you through all these questions that’s been brewing in your mind. \nBeer producers we’ll taste from include: \n– Molly Rose\n– Stomping Ground\n– Fixation\n– Heaps Normal\n– Hawkers \n… and more! \n  \nTICKETS: \n  \n⇒ Sommeliers Australia Members – $15 + booking fee \n\nTo access the Members priced ticket\, Sommeliers Australia Members login at sommeliers.com.au\, click the ‘View Available Coupons’ button on the dashboard for their UNIQUE ACCESS CODE.
