DESCRIPTION:ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN WINES!\n  \n2 – WEEK COURSE PLUS EXAM. \nIT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR CANDIDATES TO COMPLETE WSET LEVEL 2 PRIOR TO COMMENCING LEVEL 3. \nCANDIDATES SHOULD AIM TO COLLECT THEIR COURSE MATERIAL AT LEAST 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE\, TO FAMILIARISE THEMSELVES WITH THE LEVEL 3 CONTENT. \n  \nThe WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines qualification is designed to give a thorough understanding of the principal wines of the world and their commercial importance in the world’s liquor market. \nThe qualification will assist those who are required to make professional evaluations of wines\, with regard to their commercial value in the retail and hospitality industry. It also provides candidates with an in-depth understanding of wine styles\, wine regions\, grape varieties\, and wine production methods. Holders of the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines will be able to describe the characteristics of the principle wines of the world and give information on the key factors influencing style\, quality and value. \nThe qualified student will also be in a position to advise management\, to answer customer queries authoritatively\, and to make informed selections of wines in a variety of situations.
