DESCRIPTION:LOOKING BEHIND THE LABEL INTENSIVE THREE DAY ACCREDITED COURSE \nThe WSET Intermediate certificate is intended as a training program in product knowledge for those employed in the drinks industry to improve their knowledge of wines and spirits and for the enthusiast with a serious interest in wine who would like to study in a structured manner. The course covers the wines and spirits of the world and is followed by a one hour multiple choice examination. Wine tasting is a part of every class. There is a strong European focus. \n  \nCourse Programme: \n– Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting and food and wine matching \n– Key wine producing regions around the world \n– Key grape varieties \n– Sparkling and sweet wine \n– Fortified wines plus spirits and liqueurs \n  \nThis course runs for three days from Monday the 12th of November to Wednesday the 14th of November 10:30am – 5:30pm with the examination on Wednesday the 14th of November. \n  \nPlease note:no refunds will be issued within 10 working days prior to the start of the course. Before that period a 75% refund is allowed if a student cancels their enrolment. A 100% refund will apply if Wine House cancels. It also provides candidates with an in-depth understanding of wine styles\, wine regions\, grape varieties\, and wine production methods. Holders of the WSET level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines will be able to describe the characteristics of the principle wines of the world and give information on the key factors influencing style\, quality and value. \nThe qualified student will also be in a position to advise management\, to answer customer queries authoritatively\, and to make informed selections of wines in a variety of situations.
