VIC: Australia’s Iconic ‘Family’ Wines: Cabernet & Shiraz Masterclass

Join Sommeliers Australia, Yalumba Senior Red Winemaker Kevin Glastonbury, Henschke winemaker Johann Henschke and RSN’s Emily Camorra, as we present this masterclass focusing on Australia’s iconic family-produced Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz wines.
Presented in Riedel’s new Veritas Cabernet Shiraz glass, 12 Australian icons from the likes of Yalumba, Henschke, D’Arenberg, McWilliams, Brown Brothers, Tyrells and DeBortoli will be in the line-up alongside examples from Chateau Palmer.
Our panel will guide tasters through the provenance of these wines and will discuss the history and similarities of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz in Australia, and the symbiotic relationship these two varieties hold world-wide.
